My favorite thing to do lately, is wear a very neutral color with a complementary pop of glitter on one nail.

I LOVE glittery nail polish (hard to find ones that aren’t mostly clear w/a few glitters when actually polished) but it’s always been such a b@tch to take off! had to file it away first… do you have any good tips to take off the glitter?
i always use acetone nail polish remover..you can buy it at sallys beauty supply..just make sure to get the one for natural nails so its not as harsh!!
This looks gorgeous, I’m so glad I found out that the colour you’re wearing is Barefoot in Barcelona because I’ve literally just bought it but haven’t had a chance to wear it yet! The colour looks so pretty and I love how it looks with one nail painted with glitter, definitely going to try that out :) x

I do that sometimes too! I have a similar color to that one called “chocolate moose” by OPI. I should do this the next time I do my nails!

its completely glitter but very dense.. you can wear it completely opaque in 2-3 coats
i like your idea alot! I’ve tried it before and i love it! i have also been wanting to try a variation on the theme by pairing it with a complementary color instead of a glittery one like pairing that pink with something like mint!!

I love this!! I often do this myself. I was wondering how you get your nails so perfect looking. My nails are naturally curved, but I prefer squared nails…do you have any recommendations on trying to achieve this? Do you have a video about your general nail care? I just stumbled upon your youtube channel and blog site, I love them!!
ill make a video soon because its been requested a lot. but i use a straight edge clipper with a rough nail file!

I LOVE this look!!! I tried it but I used Deborah Lippmann polish in FASHION ( which by far is one of my favorite neutral colors) and I used the same gold OPI glitter polish. It turned out SOOO good!!!!! I got a ton of compliments!!!!! Thank you so much Jenny for all these GREAT tips!!!!! I love all of your videos and blogs, I am obsessed!! haha :)

I love painting my nails like this and I do it quite often! I have both of these colors, but haven’t had time to paint them like this yet. Now after looking at how awesome yours turned out, I’m definately going to do my nails like this next time! =]

My nail trend, since New year’s Day, is to match two different hues of a color.
Started by never being able to chose wich silver to wear between my E.L.F Metal Madness (too dark for a whole mani), and Sephora Mirror Mirror (too bling on its own for a whole mani): so I ended painting inner half of each nail with the bright one, and outer half with the dark one. The result was prefect, you couldn’t really say there were 2 colours without focusing on nails, and had a little geometric finish, very modern looking.
