Wet N Wild Party Of Five Glitters

This drugstore glitter polish reminds me of confetti cupcakes!!

This glitter was super hard to photograph. Its a mixture of baby blue, turquoise, green, red, hot pink, and silver. The pieces are different sizes and it looks like confetti on the nails.

Ive heard some people say its a dupe for Deborah Lippmann’s Happy Birthday. I can promise you it is not. I had no issues with application, but I would consider this to be a top coat not a stand alone polish. As you can tell its very spaced out on the nails and not densely packed. I think this would look amazing over so many colors! I cant wait to try it over black and baby blue! This is only one coat in the photos. For only a couple of dollars I think this is a must have for any glitter lover. I bought mine at Walgreens.

Do you like it? Own it? Want to buy it?

xoxo-Jen

    I love your blog btw!!

    • aww <3 actually i just noticed how bad and dry my cuticles looked in the photos..so that was a nice comment to read thanks! lol <3

  2. I definitely will be picking this up!! Random question, but I notice in your close up nail pictures that you never paint all the way to your cuticles…. Is this for a reason? I’m not trying to be rude, I’m just wondering if it’s better to not paint all the way like I always have… Thanks! You’re the best!

    • yes thats just how i paint my nails. although in person you cant tell..but in these super close up photos its hard to miss!!! check out my how to paint your nails YT video i go into depth in that video! xoxo

  3. Hi Jenny,

I like how the glitters aren’t too close together, which is how so many other glitter polishes are. Its nice to see a glitter that’s very different and it was a great choice to over white, it looks fab! Btw loving Mermaids Tears (I don’t have it yet) but how would you compare that to For Audrey By China Glaze and Essie’s Turquoise and Caicos? So many greens in the same/similar shade I don’t want to buy any dupes right now.

Which OPI Stranger Tides shade do you think is the standout shade of the collection? I like Mermaids Tears and Planks a Lot.

    • i think mermaid tears and stranger tides are stand out for me..planks a lot is too similar to other lilac polishes i have. ill def swatch them for any dupes!!

Im just amazed that you have managed to get that white not streaky :D I read that you use a white from OPI so I guess that explains it all.. the white ones I have does not apply evenly and I hate it :D Or maybe Im bad at applying them ;)
You really have beautiful nails… wish mine had the same shape as yours :)

    Take care sweetie
    Hugs

  15. Omg:) I have this color. And before you did this color nail design, i did one like this using LA COLORS French White and NYC Long Lasting Polish in “Stary Silver Glitter” on top. It looks fantastic and cant wait to try it out with the nailpolish you used here:)

  16. I’ve been looking for this polish and I can’t find it!! I checked Walgreens about
2 weeks ago and they didn’t have it…wasn’t sold out or anything just looked like they didn’t carry it. Where else is everyone getting theirs??

  17. Love this polish, I also picked mine up at Walgreens for only $0.99! It looks amazing over China Glaze’s ‘For Audrey’ I highly recommend trying it out, my toes are rocking that combo currently. My fingernails are also rocking it but over a more sedate pink.
